I recently dined at Shabu Gen with my family for dinner, and we had a wonderful experience! The variety of flavors you can choose from is fantastic, allowing everyone to customize their meal to their liking. I especially enjoyed their sushi and appetizers--they were delicious and a great way to start the meal. The service was impressively quick, and the staff was friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. The atmosphere was really quiet, which made for a relaxing dining experience; I think we just happened to pick a good day to visit. I'd say the prices are quite reasonable, especially if you can eat your fill! Just a tip--make sure to come on an empty stomach to make the most of your visit. Overall, Shabu Gen is a great spot for a flavorful meal, and I look forward to returning!

This is my second time visiting Shabu Gen -- a lowkey hot pot spot with nice ambiance, good variety of foods and friendly servers (shoutout to Ricky!) The vegetable, meat and sauce selection are better than the sushi in my opinion. It's a place to be if you want to eat a lot and avoid dealing with big crowds. I ordered the Burning Your Ass Roll (hilarious wordplay) for gits and shiggles. 2/10 if you're expecting something spicy -- small slices of jalapeño plus minimal sriracha do not do its glorious name justice.

The food was great. The service is amazing, just the floors were a bit slippery. I love the all you eat sushi, shabu and appetizers. Just an FYI there are only 2 chicken wings per order, I actually like that as you can get different flavors. Will def come here again!

Shabu Gen is amazing! The late night special (9pm-11pm)--$28 for all-you-can-eat shabu and sushi--is such a steal. The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was super friendly and quick. If you're looking for a place to enjoy great food and amazing value, especially late at night, Shabu Gen is the spot. We'll definitely be back!

Shabu gen is always a good eat. I came for dinner sushi + shabu. The Shabu meats were so good! The marbling on the premium rib eye was 10/10. We ordered 10 plates of it alone! Sushi 7/10. The nigiri had so much rice that we ended up not getting a second round. We ordered the carpaccio (salmon, tuna, snapper) 8/10. The rolls were a hit! Get the Hermes birkin and kiss of fire 10/10! Staff were very nice. Come try! Late night eats (9-11p) is a good deal too! $28.99

Five Stars - Amazing Experience! I had an absolutely fantastic experience at Shabu Gen! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest staff who made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it's clear they've put a lot of thought into every detail of the space. What stood out most, though, was the impeccable service. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made great recommendations that enhanced our experience. It's rare to find such a combination of delicious food and genuine customer care. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend Shabu Gen to anyone.You won't be disappointed!

When arriving, me and my boyfriend were greeted by a nice and positive host! The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was really comforting! Props to the chef for drawing a heart on my sushi!!
